Ellie's seminars were fantastic and extremely well-received by our pupils. The seminar structure, aided by Ellie's engaging and professional style, meant the pupils participated with, and thought about, the material, rather than just being lectured at, which I have seen too often in other pastoral talks with the same theme. What really stood these seminars apart, though, especially from other talks/seminars I have seen, is that it was equally informed and curated by both rigorous academic content and significant first-hand, real-life, experience in dealing with gender issues and policies in schools/organisations. This meant it managed to be intellectually insightful and forward thinking, whilst not feeling disconnected from realistic lived experiences. I wholeheartedly recommend these seminars.
